Baptism

Why Baptism?
Baptism is an act of obedience to Christ after salvation. After salvation, Baptism is your first public testimony to the church that you are a Child of God.
What does Baptism mean?
It says to all who witness it:
1. Jesus died on the cross for my sins
2. You are telling others by your act of baptism that you have a love relationship with Jesus Christ
3. That you have died to your sins and you're different in your focus, direction, and nature
When should I be baptized?
After salvation. Baptism is a picture of a new birth, or a new person, becoming dead to sin and alive in Christ.
How should I be baptized?
We believe in the New Testament way of baptism by immersion.
