God is the Creator and Ruler of the Universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
The Father - First, God the Father is clearly God. From the first verse of the Bible, where God created the heavens and the earth, God the Father is clearly viewed as sovereign Lord over all. We also see later on in the Bible where Jesus prays to his Father in heaven.
The Son (Jesus) - Jesus Christ is the Son of God, He has attributes that only God possesses. He lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. Jesus arose from the grave on the third day to demonstrate his power over sin and death. Today Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father and will return one day to this earth.
The Holy Spirit - He is the third person of the Trinity of God. He guides, convicts, comforts, helps, directs, and teaches believers in everyday life. He is present in the lives of all believers at the point of Salvation.
Scripture - The Bible is the word of God. The Bible is written by humans under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Scriptures are inspired by God; it is totally true and without error.
Giving - We believe in giving the tithe, a tithe is ten percent of your gross income. A person's tithe is to go to the store house (your local church). Scripture tells us to give cheerfully, regularly, and freely for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. We believe that this is the only area where God says, “test Me and I will open the windows of Heaven and pour out blessings”.
Humans - Humans are made in the image of God. Humans are disobedient toward God; that is known as "sin". Sin separates us (humans) from God and will take you places you never intended to go.
Discipleship - Every believer is called to reach people for Christ and help them develop into fully devoted followers of Christ. We are commanded to "go" and seek the lost and introduce them to Christ by methods that are found in the gospel of Christ (the Bible).
The Church - The New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the local body of baptized believers who have a common faith and fellowship with Jesus Christ. We observe two ordinances: the Baptism and the Lord's Supper. We believe that Christ is the head over the Church and the body is to serve to advance the gospel of Christ.
Salvation - Salvation is a free gift to all people, but each person must accept it. Trusting in Jesus Christ is the only way to have salvation and forgiveness for sin. At the point of salvation a person begins his/her eternal life. If you have been genuinely saved, you will live out your faith. You cannot lose your salvation once genuinely saved.
Ordinances - "Baptism by Immersion" - we believe that being baptized means you go completely under the water after salvation as a symbol of obedience. Baptism does not save a person. "The Lord's Supper" is a symbolic act of remembering the death of Jesus Christ as we wait on His second coming.
Unity - We believe in being united with other believers in fellowship. It is each member's responsibility to bring all gossiping and disunity to end.
