M28 Church

M28 Church is a new church plant in Atlanta, GA that is located in the heart of the city in Midtown that started in 2013. Midway West Church has a passion to “Go” and we have committed to walk along side M28 with both financial support and volunteer man-hours. We can partner with M28 and serve through outreach projects by going into parks, coffee shops, and the streets of Midtown to help build relationships with their neighbors.

Alice's House

2016 marks the 19th year of operation for Alice’s House. To date, over 200 children in need have been served. You can help us continue our mission by becoming a Friend of Alice’s House.

Children come to Alice’s House for many reasons, including abuse, neglect and other challenging family situations. Our mission is to provide an environment in which these children can feel safe and thrive.

Alice’s House provides services based on the conviction that each youth in residence is an individual with the right to the kind of care that meets his or her needs. We believe it is important to preserve and strengthen each child’s family relationships whenever possible.

Most children are placed in Alice’s House by the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services. Priority is given to the youth of Carroll County.

The Purpose Center

The Purpose Center is a local twelve-month residential faith-based program that provides men a place for treatment for various life-controlling issues.  They provide a program that will bring all participants into the realm of personal responsibility, safety, and growth towards self sufficiency, by providing a disciplined environment and a proven educational mentorship program. The goal is to have the participants reenter back into society and live a productive life.

Unity at the Cross Ministries

Unity at the Cross Ministries exists is to encourage the coming together of fellow Christians, through meetings, rallies and social events. They seek the unity that Jesus prayed for His church to embrace. In so doing, they hope to develop a network of believers who will bring Christian values back to our communities and our nation with projects that include public prayer. Volunteer opportunities are available on a weekly basis for two or more people to come together in prayer.
